I have one to move a small van, but it only moves it on flat concrete. anything else the wheel just slips. Having said this it is very handy to move the van around on the concrete slab in my garage area.

I have one with twin tractor type wheels (pump-up). Gets me out of trouble on a slightly sloping concrete driveway. (18ft Jayco Poptop)

They are called Maco Mules - both single and dual wheels and I have both which perform as mentioned above. I find they allow me to move my van on a slope with some confidence as you can move click by click plus you can easily lock the wheel(s) by pushing the handle up all the way. They are more heavily built than standard jockey wheels but the dual wheel one is damn heavy to carry. Check Gumtree for a 2nd hand one. Cheaper than the electric ones which also slip on grass although with both you can simply put down a sheet of masonite/plywood to get grip on grass.
Good Luck.

I bought one at a garage sale (yeah I know, I buy lots of stuff at garage sales) for $10. I tried it out on the little Avan and it worked great first time. Next time I used it the ratchet in the head kept slipping. I had a closer look at the head and realised it was just a half inch socket wrench welded into the end of the handle. I had to wait another three or four weeks before I found a half inch socket wrench at another garage sale for $2.00. I ground off the welds on the original head, cut down the handle on the new ratchet head and welded it inot the handle of the jockey wheel. So now it works perfectly

If it has the hard rubber wheel I'd give it a miss as it will slip even on hard surfaces - the pneumatic tyre grips much better. Some designs necessitate you bending to operate the lever so check that as well.
My double pneumatic wheel Maco Mule surprisingly grips worse than my single wheel version due to the smaller one having morte downward force per sq inch.

Hi all,
I brought a Repco 10" Jockey wheel with Ratchet 45% off = $117.00 SAVE $112.00 at REPCO till Tommorrow 17th of May.
Has 350kg load Capacity on the jockey, and states can move 2000KG.
It looks the goods to move the new snail, with the GO JACKS under all four wheels as well.
