This is a great place to overnight. Unfortunately not a lot to see in or around the town. $12 per night powered, $6 unpowered. Good clean toilets and showers. Washing machine free. Camp kitchen with BBQ and microwave. Bag of golf clubs free to use on golf course across the road. Townspeople are very friendly and welcoming. Brenda

Temora is not to far away and it has the Aviation museum and the Rural Museum incorporating NSW Ambulance Service Museum, otherwise yes not much to see. Can use it as a base to explore out to Griffith.

Has the pub re-opened yet and if so are they supplying meals or is the café the only food outlet available ??

When we were there last in 2012, it was free or by donation to camp. Nice town.

Ariah Park Revisited:
I am at Ariah Park once again. I see as I drove through town the pub has reopened. The caretaker says they are doing lovely Sunday roasts with dessert for $17.95. The White Rose Café looks to be open. Can't tell with much else as it is Sunday. Will check it out tomorrow.
It is now $12 a night to stay in the park but you get so much for that, it is definitely worth it. Water and Power at the vans. Toilets, Showers, Washing Machine in the Laundry area. I understand they now have showers in the mens as well, they used to use the laundry as well.

Great outdoor camp kitchen with all facilities.
And I've only just arrived.
