Another great update John. I was talking to a chap at Streaky Bay and he reliably informed me that the way to catch red claw was to use good old fashioned Sunlight Soap. Just break a little off and put in the net and they come on in. Don't know if he was joshing me or not, but I have a feeling that he was fair dinkum. Might be worth a try, he reckoned he caught heaps at Calliope.

Great reading John, I've reached Northern Territory, nearly missed it just a bit of a fence & a sign. Turned left today & heading for Alice, poking along nice & steady, been staying at Billabongs & Bores.
Enjoy yourselves, catch ya later
