Smoke in Perth area from burn offs very bad last night, warnings to keep windows shut but not a lot you can do with skylight vents.
Necessary to do them but very bad for those with respiratory problems.

You're not wrong about the smoke getting into the house VIC,
I woke at 2.00 am this morning thinking the house was on fire, the smell of smoke was that thick,
when I went outside, I found the car covered in ash, flaming hard to hose off as well.
I'm not really complaining though, It's about time they did something serious and started reducing the fuel loads in many areas around the Metro and country built-up areas,
I think the fires down in Northcliffe may have had the desired effect to make people realise just how dangerous the un-burnt country side can be in Summer.
I say, to hell with the Wingers complaining about smoke, get on with the burns while the weather is cool, the more burnt the safer we will be next Summer.
