We are staying in a friendly CP in Rockhampton, I was checking the car over
when a lady asked where the dump point was, I pointed out where it was and asked where she was parked.
She said" I'm at the Showgrounds and they don't have a dump point". I suggested she talk to the manager.
She nodded and left, then shortly after came back towing the cassette, almost got to the dump point when the
manager caught up with her and asked what she was doing,she went through her speil and her asked why didn't
you ask first,her reply I didn't think I needed to.He asked her very nicely to go. He said if she'd asked she could have use.
the dump point. Then at shower time a "gentleman " came in and emptied the wee bucket in the toilets,very smelly, only 20 steps from the dump point.
Some people are not very considerate of others. The lady was reasonably young, the man was a lot older.

yep - theres people like this in all walks of life, including nomads, when you would expect people to be a lot nicer, but it seems not.
If the Manager hadn't let her use it for free, then he probably would have charged a couple of $......
Lets hope they both get bladder infections and decide this is not the lift suited to them lol - they certainly are not suited to the vast majority of us

Lots of people empty their pee buckets in the toilets, I think you will find that most CP's would prefer them to do that if there are no solids or chemicals in a pee bucket, otherwise if everyone emptied their pee buckets in the dump point it would need pumping out more often which is an expensive cost to the CP.
My understanding is dump points are for portable/rv toilets where chemicals have been used in them.

I spoke to the Manager and he prefers them to empty the wee bucket into the toilets rather than the
Urinals. The urinals block up as their drainage system is not very big and because of that the smell is fairly ripe.
The dump point can be used 'cos they at least wash the bucket out there instead of some other place.

I think most do empty them into the pan toilets, for myself, as long as they put the seat up and flush the toilet I have no problems with that. Most use an outside tap to rinse their buckets out from what I have seen or like you said the hose at dump points.

when I book a site , I ALLWays ask for a site Close to th dunnies.
Or I Have to be prepared to walk a few extra yards. I am ok with that.
Sometimes "the ministry of finances" does not agree , as she has to go a couple of times
throughout the night. If she wanted a bucket , then she would be vanning on her own.

An acquaintance of mine saw a bloke in a CP washing the inside floor of his van, on speaking to him he learned that they had a very strong bucket on hand for a pee at night and his wife had sat on it, but her bum had stuck to the bucket by suction and when she stood up the bucket came with her and fell off spilling the contents over the floor.
This is the first time I have come across this.
