Howdy there Netco, Welcome to the playground, as you can see, some of us have a few Hobbies that sure pass the time.
How about introducing your selves on the Forum in the general section. You will find many people on here who will take an interest in what you are thinking of buying, and where you intend to travel to etc ,
You will find all the advice and info readily available somewhere on this Forum,
So lets hear from you, don't be shy, come on, we're waiting.

just saw the model cars, brings back a lot of memories. My husband mate had a single spinner 4 door hard top IN 1966
He used it as a paddock wagon, removed the bonnet tied it to the back of the car , and we used to surf behind it for weeks.
He bought it for $40, they were the days, aaahhhh Memories

G'day liz785, "Yes", The old cars of yesteryear bring back a lot of good memories for me as well.
Way back in the same year ( 1966 ) I owned a 47 ford v8 sedan, being in a Hot-rod Club at the time I spent a heap of time on this car, used it for Drag Racing , changed the column change gear box for a 39 4 speed floor change, and did other mods to it including repainting it with a 1" paint brush, came out o.k. as well, back in those days, time didn't seem to matter, as I think it took me around two weeks to finish the paint work,
I then traded it in and heard a farmer bought it, cut the body in half and made a ute out of it, if I had caught up with this bloke I think I would have flattened him.
I've been to the Sunday Markets again and found another couple of model cars,
the first one is an 1/18 scale size 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two door, convertible............
The second car is a 1/18 scale model 1950 Ford Single Spinner, 2 door Convertible.................
Both together look pretty impressive on the shelf, I now have reached the point of , stop collecting, or buy another Display Cabinet !!!!
