Thanks for the heads up, I do think it is wrong that councils force you into Private caravan parks, or worse still when you travel with pets and they provide no alternative. We found Perth to be very RV unfriendly. Not a single council Dump point and the caravan parks refused to let us use theirs even when offered money. More councils need to think this through before they lose serious tourist dollars. We would like to visit their towns but if they cannot provide 24 hr rest stops within the town boundaries we are happy to free camp else where . Shame because Cape Tribulation is truly beautiful.
