I have slowly been converting a transit van into a camper anticipating my now empty nest. The longest I have spent on the road at once is six weeks, from SE QLD to Cape Otway Vic and the decision to live this way is now fortified. I still have home base and am looking forward what the future brings. (...and a fully fitted potty haha... one day soon I hope)

Welcome to the gang Idris, enjoy here and out in the playground.
That was a great destination to choose for your longest trip so far. Lovely part of the playground and I tell you that for free.

Thanks for the welcomes.
Do you live on water Ballast? I am looking forward to that too. I have been offered to live on a yacht and travel abroad for an indefinite time... I declined however would like to know what its like to live on water and they will be hanging around top end east coast Oz in October and i am looking forward to that too. Anything could happen though. What I have noticed so far is this overwhelming urge to not plan where i will be when... It's all vague and follows the wind as the saying goes. I like that.
