Yep! But with that music dING there is no need for the whisky really.
I have a lovely bottle of whisky from a Tassie Distillery I got last year while over there and a lovely bottle of Black Label JW Scotch just waiting for me to open them. Not far away for one of them and I tell you that for free. I reckon the longer they sit there the better they will taste

Knowing you like a little pedanticism here it is. Your Tassie brew is whiskey. Whisky comes from Scotland.

Not so sure about the spelling Peter, Wikipedia has quite a bit to say on the subject http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisky
Regardless, I frequently enjoy a single malt whiskey/whisky and mineral water during the winter months.
Yes Peter that is all very well but does it taste any different?
Well I is sober tonight --- Bugga
But bin making my own Wisky
For many years now I just add
A dash of Leatherwood honey
To each bottle cause I can and
I have lotsa bees in my yard
I still love my "Whisky"
