Enquiring if any one out there, has stayed here recently, with a big rig.

We are currently at Lake Elphinstone and were thinking of staying there on way to Mackay? 

We stayed there a couple of months ago and enjoyed the experience. I would suggest that during school holidays it would be best if you phoned ahead. The amenities are basic but clean the outlook is fantastic and by the look of the number of fisher persons there must be plenty of fish.

We stayed at the Retreat Hotel on the way there, now that is a good spot no problem about room either.
