I wonder who is Ali's carrier...... Because if it's not telstra, you won't get any service in the Bush! Good luck!

I would not bother with that one Check out Boost.com.au it is owned by Telstra so you get full Telstra 3G service. It is prepaid $40.00 per 30 days, unlimited phone and txt to anyone in Australia, no premium numbers like voting for MKR or Masterchef. It has 3gb of data. You can not get it from Telstra though, if you want to keep your old number you need to ring Boost and they will organise to port your number after they have sent you a blank SIM card, then you just ring them and within a couple of hours your number has been ported across.

I also changed to Boost from Aldi after the data dropped to 1.5g . All I did was buy boost sim starter pack at P O
then did everything on line including porting my number which took abt 2 hrs all up
I understand that way out bush we may lose reception but all good so far .
Boost for me and as Dav4Cris said $40 mth with 3g data

If you take up the $40.00 unlimited plan with Boost, every Sunday you now get a bonus of 1GB of Data to use, so if you setup WIFI hotspot and link your putta to it and use the data, saves on your internet plan.
ALDI have the following on offer next week. Not sure if this is a new thing or existing.
Would appreciate any comments from those who might have had some experience with it ?
