It is time for Mike (ethanol) to leave and to continue his travels westward.
Rod (Rover) arrived this afternoon and has temporarily parked behind Mike ready to take his spot tomorrow.
Rod planned last year at Greens to buy a Discovery4 and a Kedron van sure enough he has rocked up with both, very impressive.
Anyone planning to come here to Wuruma might like to post here and we will be on the lookout for them.

Yes Patty that is him alright "the lurker'. Haven't had much rain here only caught half a bucket and the days have been around 30 degrees with night just under 20.
That must be why I go north for the winter. Look forward to hearing from you, I will be heading south after August so hopefully we will catch up then.
My eyes have been better with the daily drops and new bifocals, can now read smaller print and am reading those Wilbur Smith novels that Marg brought to Greens for me.

Thats great news John. Glad you held on to them till you got your eyes sorted.
Should see you in about two weeks or less.
Just spent a wonderful couple of days in the Redcliffe area catching up with a friend in Clontarf and Beth54 in Scarborough and also Pam, Travelbug, who came over for the day.
Now back to Hervey Bay for doc appointments before heading north.

John was already hooked on Wilbur Smith. He got me hooked on them too. The last set I gave him I numbered them in order after I read them.
I also keep a list of all his books in my wallet and mark them off after I've read them and passed them on to John.

Always good to meet friends and friends of friends, Gail saw me after a paddle and introduced herself and told me of your request. She was able to get me some honey when they went to town, so that was good. Met Vic later up at the bus.
Will be happy to meet Trevor and Rhonda when they visit next week.
Thanks for the thought Barrie have you any plans to visit Wuruma yourselves?

Whilst not a forum member Syd has arrived and moved in the area with us, Paul and I met Syd last year at Babinda and subsequently I travelled south with him. He has been mentioned in many of the posts that I put up during that trip.
Welcome Syd, he was in Condoblin when I phoned him a couple of weeks ago so he has made quite a trip to join us.

John , you may be interested to know I have just spent the last two days camped beside Dave and Debbie with their dog Mini in a caravan and Rob in a small motorhome at Theresa Creek Bridge.
They met up at Wuruma Dam and decided to travel together a while. They all remember you well from their time there. They are not Greynomad members but I said I would pass on a hello to you.
