Hi Lesley. Know absolutely nothing on this vehicle, but have an Isuzu DMax which has a small truck 4 cylinder high compressesion common rail diesel motor (whew). I assume yours will be the same.
Ive spoken to all Isuzu nomads and not ONE has been negative about their vehicle - everyone of them LOVE them (like us)
Isuzu is a common truck and most country mechanics know them and parts aren't too far way.
BTW The DMax is the highest selling vehicle last year with an increase of over 19% - as you would expect Toyota 4WHD sold the most, but their increase was less than a third of Izusu

Lesley,
My understanding is that Elf Motorhomes are units that are imported from Japan, so maybe like the imported Coasters there could be problems in purchasing replacement parts until you know about the equivalent Isuzu Oz vehicle. If you purchase such a unit I would suggest you purchase a workshop manual to assist a mechanic if you have problem out in rural remote Oz.
If you do not get any more help on this forum I suggest joining
