Eighteen months ago I had a change of shift at work. It meant I spent my afternoons at home.
To fill in a bit of time, I started watching TV.
I am now addicted to "Bold and the Beautiful"
I try to turn it off.....but I can"t.
Help!!
p.s How many times has Brook been married?

You can turn it off for at least 6 months and when you come back nothing will have changed .The story line moves so slowly.Try it ,you will pickup the story

hahaha, I have a mate who is the same. Could be rolling up on the bowling green and all of a sudden it is B&B starts in 5, catch you later and away he goes.
If there is a chance he can't watch it he records it.

Trust me. It will take awhile but eventually you will get sick of them marrying each other and then one day you will decide "that's it. got to be more to life than watching the bold and the beautiful. maybe buy a camera and go aound the district taking photos of the sunset. good luck with your addiction.

I was the same 20 years ago, I had to watch it. Now could not care less as the stories seem to go around in circles.
I think Brook has been married to or at least slept with every bloke in the show
and she still looks amazing.
might catch up with it again one day
no hurry though

.....you only think they are staring into the distance with their pseudo raunchy, vacant glazed eye stares......they are actually hypnotizing you....you are then a 'groupie' disciple/zombie......'.Daze of our Lives' is similar....
There is an disclaimer at the end that states 'any resemblance to any human being or reality to life on Planet Earth, is purely coincidental'....
I accidentally watched it once in the last 2 years...we had an aged friend visiting....who was also a B & B Zombie.....Hoo Roo

There's plenty of info. on the internet. Google how many times has Brooke married, and how many partner's she's had, around 10 or so.
I'm sure your fellow campers will understand if they see you giving glazed, stunned or surprised stares across the caravan parks, "Oh he's the B @ B fan". lol lol.

And why do they all whisper, especially Brook and Ridge the 2nd ?
Thank you for reminding me of Carol Burnett. She was an amazing success story after alcoholic parents and later she had her share of bad luck eg her daughter's cancer.
One of her very funny satires was on the growing trend of political correctness (PC). Her comedy series was back between 1967-78, so if anyone is wondering how political correctness became such a widespread and systemic plague upon us all, remember it has been going since then and many people cannot remember any life before the PC police caused them to self-censor.
Here is the short skit and others. Well worth enjoying a real female talent in action, as opposed to the unnecessarily coarse, unimaginative types (men too) presently on offer.

That was when comedy was comedy. That and All In The Family. The only thing that has come close is Seinfeld.

Simply the best. Nothing funnier than Tim Conway and Harvey Korman in the Dentist and the no frills airline. I've never laughed so much. Nothing to compare today. Also Lucille Ball.

Bob Hope and Phillis Diller were my favourites. Great team.
The closest person to a funny man these days, I reckon Ahn Doh is up there. Ah, there ya go, Rodney Rude BUT is TV stuff NOT stage.
To get it a bit closer to a travel/info forum as this one.....Jack Absolim (spelling) had a good sence of humour in his travel shows many moons back.
