that's why most of us only catch blowies when we throw a line in from the beach or wharf............

Seems they've used a lot of deception to pass themselves off as Australian named and owned vessels apparently with government approval for their activities...

We have radio adds up here (Central Qld.) from Professional Fisherman complaining about us outspoken amateur fisherman complaining about them trawling close to beaches. They say their complete industry will be destroyed and job losses will result. Want people to sign a petition at local fish shops to continue allowing trawling at beaches.
Wonder what effect these foreign owned ships will have on recreational fishing in these areas, see;
