Well we made it to Mount Alaxander Koala park for easter very nice place quiet few campers here but not crowded great facilities flushing toilets no showers reasonably level sites lots of sites think there is about 4 steel fire pits they are good swivelling plate and billy hanger
forgot a few items good job we were with a couple of experianced campers forgot the fry pan, no kettle, haven't got a baby Q yet but will, need to make a toaster, mate had a beute one that twists around so can cook both sides without touching the toast, forgot the shovel, at least the van went well batteries lasted even though it was partially in the shade got down to 12.2 v but will put more solar panels on the roof can't have too many of them I have read here somewhere, our fridge (180L ) is 12 V only so happy with that , phew learnt quite a bit lots more than I can think of right now but really enjoyed the relaxing couple of days off away from the farm.
yikes back to the working world now to get organised for cropping

When you get to my age ... the answer in a word is LISTS.
Not only are they the obvious reminder but are useful in noting what you don't use & can help in discarding excess stuff.
Mind you I keep on board lots of stuff that I don't often use but love to have 'just in case'.
Sounds like you found a great camping spot. Good to see that the batts were sufficient for a 12v fridge.

Well done Woody n Sue, it's always great to get that first trip out the way and to have it be successful is even better.
May I ask where abouts this nice sounding place is please, state and a near by town would be good. I only ask as it sounds very nice.
Keep Safe
