Watching a bit about Mars exploration on 60 Minutes last night. Just think if the Billions of dollars spent on research into Mars was spent on world hunger.
Earth has evolved for millions of years with out this exploration. Lets face it at the moment we are not doing a very good job running Earth why look for another planet to stuff up.
One other thing has anyone noticed how much the weather pattern is disrupted since they started putting all this stuff into space

Yes I have quite often wondered what if any influence all those jet flights are having on the weather also .

Yep, I don't get it either, I have wondered when all that stuff up there is going to start falling,?? Read about 6 years ago, somewhere there's over 300 pieces floating around, I'm guessing there's a lot more up there now.
Yes its got to affect our weather, I say stop all that scientific crap., and concentrate on fixing the earth instead.

Before calling for the space program to be closed down, think on the things that we use every day that have only been developed because of the space program: spinoff.nasa.gov/Spinoff2008/tech_benefits.html

I see a great deal of things developed by NASA but not necessarily requiring space exploration to develop. Only thing I didn't see was a cure for world hunger and poverty.
