I just wanted to say a thank you to everyone on the techies corner. I have posted a few questions on here and every time I have received helpful and informative answers. I enjoy reading every one else's posts as well. Being a single woman I often worry that mechanics and caravan repairers rub their hands in glee when they see me coming, but with the info you lot have given me I feel more confident in dealing with problems. I will even attempt minor repairs myself (definitely not electrical though). My solar power is working beautifully thanks to all your help and I have now a reasonably good understanding of the whole system. Anyway love you all, even the grumpy ones. Cheers,Lynne

Lynne.....can we catch up at some stage so you can do some minor work on my 'van...........pleassssssssseeeeeeeeeeee lol
Seriously, though its good to hear you have the confidence to take on these jobs, and its not just females that feel they may get ripped off my mechanics etc - I think us geriatric men feel the same - they seem to think because youre old, youre rich !!!!!!

A big thanks from me, too. I'm an electrical engineer and I've learned a lot from this forum ... about things electrical.

I think anyone travelling needs to find out as much as they can about their set up ,ASAP.
Remember ,one is never too old to learn. [87 & STILL learning]

Thanks from me as well Lynne, PeterQ, I had no idea you were of that vintage. Great to see you are still feisty and up with your techo facts. Well done mate, I hope I am as articulate when and if I reach that age. BTW we never stop learning, I love getting new knowledge.
