Holden have a number of adds on TV. They also have a number of adds for the Colorado. One of those grabbed my attention for all the wrong reasons. The add shows an adult towing a caravan (it looks like a Jayco Silverline) with a grey/silver Colorado. Then they come across a caravan being towed and the adult is heard saying 'Bloody Caravaners'. In turn the kid in the back seat repeats this.
I emailed Holden and expressed my disappointment with this add for mainly two reasons:
1) It is an unprovoked attack on caravaners
2) This is language that should not be used by a kid. Yes I know some kids say much worst.
The reply I received from Holden is that they were 'within the guide lines' and if I had any other issues to take it up with the governing body.
They might be within the guide lines but it is morally wrong.

Yes Larry, I agree. There seems to be two adverts. One without the word "bloody" shown during children's hours and the one with the word "bloody" during the non childrens hours.

Another couple of points on that add as well
1. He passes on the crest of a hill very close to double lines
2. Being a ford man it beats hell out of me how the thing can tow, let alone on a hill. Caravan must be made of balsa wood lol
