Last year we stayed at the Broken Hill Tourist Park. We enjoyed our stay there and the staff were excellent.

We also stayed at the Broken Hill Tourist Park. As Geoff and Bev said the staff are excellent. The manager even parked my van for me. Thoroughly recommend it.
Cheers,
David.

Broken Hill Tourist Park is the one we use. Most of their sites are covered with tan bark chips, which I think is a much better option than gravel - I hate small bits of gravel under foot, inside. Their en-suite sites are quite large.

I used to live in Broken Hill so have not stayed at the caravan parks however a lot of people speak well of Penrose Park at Silverton just 20 minutes from Broken Hill.

I was there about 2 months ago and the tap water tasted like bore water.

We stayed at the Racecourse last year. Very good , campfire every night and good facilities.
Has any one got a suggestion as to which caravan park to stay at in Broken Hill
Ta
We stayed at St. Pats Racecourse - the caretakers back then were wonderful.
You might need to check if it is still ok as nothing about camping is mentioned on their website! - Ph 08 8087 7550
