We called into the dam last year, was very crowded and had trouble finding a location to stay with our "block of flats".
Found a spot behind some toilets, high on a hill. Have noticed that some of the images shown here on the forum are very flat compared to our last location.
Visiting our grand kids in Brisbane within the next couple of months and then heading north and may pop into the dam if we find a suitable spot to plonk the "block of flats".
Otherwise will stay elsewhere and do a day trip to visit the dam.
Any info would be good.

check out the comments in the Solo Section. I know a group of this forum are heading there at the moment. yeoeleven may be able to help you, think he is there now. Been a few years since I was there - water level comes and goes, and therefore, so does the flats and hills.
