A new version of Wikicamps is available for download (version 2.0.0). My experience and that of many other Aussie users hasn't been good - ended up have to delete and reinstall the app which included a whole lot of download resources and time. Seem to be working OK now but its not the best experience I've had.

Strange that, we just love it and have had no problems. Best thing since sliced bread, sorry to hear your story, must have been just bad luck for you. Gemmybob.

I've looked at Bluestacks and can't figure out what to download on that site. Thanks anyway. Maybe someone will point me in the right direction.

I haven't found a way to use it on a Windows 7 system. I just use the phone (Android) and I gues if and when I get a new computer with Windows 8 or greater I'll download and run it then.

You should get a message advising that an update is available - just click on update and follow the prompts. If you have an Android device either wait for a couple of days as there's a bug in the new versions that's being fixed or delete the app from your devise and reinstall it from the PlayStore - you'll have to download all your favourites and other customisations again but this has no cost, it just takes time.

As far as I know now it only works on windows 8 with WiFi. I also tried bluestacks with no results.
But ok on my new windows 8 laptop - about the only good thing I can say about windows 8

No, but you do need to have the email address from which you set up your account and the password (it can be sent to your email address if you've forgotten it).

laurie.......I haven't noticed any specific new features yet other than the colours and it does seen to download quicker. Im just concerned how some of us did nothing and the software upgrade seems to have happened automatically (and on a mix of Apple and Android platforms) and others had to manually upgrade or even delete the earlier version and reload the new one.
Any IT expert who understands this - can you help us out here?

Check the settings on your device - if the auto update is checked then uncheck it so that you have to authorise any updates before they can happen.
