The air con in our van starts up OK and cools for awhile then shuts off and just blows air.
Low gas or compressor problem?

More information.
We have an Ibis 3 in a brand new van and it was doing the same. Contacted Air Command in SA, they sent someone out to look at it and found it was mounted too close to a wall, resulting in the outlet air being recirculated too soon to the sensor and causing it to cut out prematurely.

we had same problem. Changed capacitors - not fixed. Changed thermostat and re-gassed - not fixed. Had now spent over $500. Traded the van in - problem solved

Google your aircon brand and find a service agent closest to you. It could be a faulty thermostat but you really need an expert to look at it...

HI we have an IBIS blowing air but not cooling found out
one of the copper PIPES in it was split because the bend in the
pipes are to sharp to allow for the low profile air con outer cover
