Whilst I have not been here yet It will be on my list of places to stay for a while.
Where am I talking about Kellerberrin WA is a small town in the wheat belt between Northam and Merridan, the local Caravan Park has 6 powered sites and 6 unpowered.
My reason for asking fellow travellers to support this small town of about 900, is the community has banded together and supported their young firefighters to attend and compete in the CFA Junior State Championships at Horsham this year, last year was the 1st time Kellerberrin competed in the CFA state championships at Swan Hill, they must have been impressed with the hospitality and friendship afforded to them by Swan Hill and the rest of the CFA community, to fund raise to make the journey east this year.
Kellerberrin lead the parade of teams at last years event, and competing in an event
I for one, are right behind any fire-fighting crew, no matter where they are,
We have been to Kellerberrin on a number of occasions having worked near there for some time, Good on the locals, lets hope us Grey Nomads
can support this local team by visiting this small Country town and spend some time there,
We will be visiting their Caravan Park in the next few weeks and probably spend some time staying there.

Stayed there late last year. The manager is a great lady and I am sure there is more than 6 powered sites. $16 a night with free laundry. Cant get much better than that
