Hello im new to this site, we travelled in a Bus for 2 yrs then about 8 yrs ago moved into a house and "settled down" but we are looking at doing it again we learnt a lot last time so will be a little more prepared , but my health has deteriorated and I need oxygen at night so will either need a constant power source or parking where there is power anyone with ideas on "cheap" power would be good
look forward to learning from you all

Hi Backtobus we offer you a very warm welcome to the forum, if you knew how much power you would need over night it may be possible to run on batteries and recharge with solar panels, a bit more capital outlay up front but definitely cheaper in the longer term.

G'day Backtobus and welcome.
(The following should have been in the Tech section - sorry)
Re-oxygen; I have COPD and need a nebulizer and oxy too. I use an oxygen concentrator that is both 240AC volt and 12 VDC volt via a small inverter (200 Watt) This was supplied with the concentrator which uses 90 Watts. I brought this off EBay for around AUD$500.00.
Hope this helps mate and gives you the freedom to travel again. I'm static at the moment as I have complications that require a nearby hospital/

Welcome to the gang backtobus, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I hope it all goes well with the oxy for you. The oxy generators are the way to go for sure. Just make sure it's a oxy generator not oxy welder
Oh no, did I really say that? I will blame KFT.

Welcome Backtobus I hope you enjoy the site. I will leave the electrical advice to those that know thier stuff better than I. but I am sure it should not be to much of a problem with todays systems. Landy

The nebulizer is compact and uses 240AC volt and has a clip-on battery that lasts around 20 minutes continuous use.
