I have a GU Patrol wagon and i want to mount a fire extinguisher on the panel by the rear left hand door
A rear seatbelt runs down behind this panel i think
Am i going to damage the belt if i put a couple of screws in this panel?
Other position suggestions would be appreciated

I feel it will become a missile in a frontal accident. When I worked for a company doing adr approved mods we always mounted the extinsher low down, pretence given to backs of centre consoles and under front passenger seat, on the floor level with the front of the seat
cheers

They should come with bracket..
I would mount it on floor as close to seat as possible . Away from feet .
Allows easy access ..
On my road , car club car it mounted on alloy bracket utilising the std front passenger seat bolts ..
We don't even know the extinguisher is there in general use ...
Our work trucks are fitted in rear seat flooring as well..
May pay to affix fire extinguisher sticker on window ?
