Driving home on Sunday with the van in tow, happen to look down at the Prodigy2 Brake Controller and it was Flashing with the display reading N.C. I checked when I got home the Trouble shooting chart says .1 Trailer connected with open circit on brake line ,2 Trailer connector disconnected or corroded,3 loss of Trailer break magnet ground, I proceeded to have a look under the van this morning and guess what a broken Magnet Wire on one of 4wheels, wich I repaired I haven't tested the van again yet ,the question is would that be my problem? Hoping it is.

I would think that its your problem. A type 1 failure perhaps. Fix it & see what the controller says.
Sounds like a great controller. Much better than my basic unit.
Must put it on my shopping list.

G'day Lance.
I have had the same n.c. lit on my vehicle brake controller as well, but I found by wriggling the trailer plug the fault went away. I put my problem down to a bad connection on the van/car plugs. I have since replaced the plug and it hasn't happened again. It looks like any bad or missing connection in the van brake circuit might cause the fault.

Think the NC means no connection, as C indicates connected! so would think there was a loose or broken wire in the van connection.

Tested the van yesterday wednesday The 18th all good the broken wire was the cause of the flashing Prodigy2 all fixed ready to go again.

The prodigy 2 is a great controller. Remember though that you can get a nc message which starts the heart to flutter but can be as simple as the plug connection not being right. A simple fix with a small knife to widen the pin will most probably solve the problem.. Has happened to me before.
Cheers
