Not really, The Kimberleys do not exist. However ee do have an area called the Kimberley in the north of WA. Is that what elliemike was getting at.

The Kimberley region in Western Australia stretches from the WA/NT Border to south of Broome.
If you look at number plates in Derby they start with KW which stands for Kimberley West.
Halls Creek is HC Broome BM Wyndham/ Kununurra is WY
These are the number plates for the Kimberley region. Some people have state plates as well
but people in the bush like to be identified.
My plates are BSN I live in Busselton in the South West of Western Australia.
snap 1946 friends of ours had a tree drop on their caravan in Tasmania total right off.
They are back on the road with a new van but still shaking.
Regards Rob

For the information of all the NITPICKERS out there,
I did realise that in typing this topic, I thought I had made a mistake in printing the word KIMBERLEYS,
I HAVE SINCE TRIED TO CORRECT THIS BY EDITING THE HEADING, But once it is published it seems I am unable to edit the post,
By the way, the KIMBERLEYS DO EXIST, here is the proof.............
A THUNDER STORE HAS CAUSED DAMAGE IN KUNUNURRA.......

Ha ha, that article only shows that you are not the first and won't be the last to get it wrong.
Don't feel bad, the 'nitpickers' you speak of are really educators and we are never too old to learn.
It is unfortunate that we can't edit a heading we make once it has been posted.
