It looks like half the Southern part of W.A. have fires burning at the present time,

Many of these fires were started by lightning from the Storms in recent days,

This Morning, Sat 31/01/2015 Perth has heavy cloud cover, the air is thick with humidity, and todays temp will be in the high 30's again.

At the present time, we are experiencing  the 2.00am Fire-fighters Dread, that is the wind, it comes howling out of the hills in gusts, swirling around all over the place and can be extremely dangerous for anyone trying to fight fires.
