Not sure about it really. I like but don't like. I spose if I had to make a decision I would at the time.

Ingenious !!
But.
Limited ventilation. Plus the clear section would be like a hot-house in the sun.
Reminds me of the English Rover P6B sedan. All bolt together construction.
Someone thought that a bolt on ,clear roof would be just the thing on a sunny English day.
Motoring journos described it like driving around in a greenhouse.
Not many sold--back to the aluminium roof.
Sorry,I digress.

It would be very hard to use in regulated caravan parks with it's fold out sides here on the eastern seaboard of Australia.
Not a lot of user friendly ventilation either.
Being designed in the eighties and did not take off probably explains why we in Australia we would not buy them.

Would we have to pay for 2 sites at a CP? Not much privacy with those clear walls and methinks it would feel like a sauna in our climate.

I like it
this is a quote by someone on the link -
It's not in production. And it's quite old: "De Markies (The Awning) was an entry in the Temporary Living competition 1985 and was conceived as a mobile home. On the road, it measures 2.00 m by 4.50 m, and once it has arrived at its destination its floorspace can be increased threefold in a matter of seconds. De Markies was awarded the Public Prize at the Rotterdam Design Prize 1996.
I am assuming he knows but please don't shoot me if the above is incorrect.
Love this idea as long as it can handle all weather conditions.

Would this be the future
I could live with it for sure
A real fun package
