We were there last time it was full and most of the Flinders was closed due to flooding we took a week and visited the opal fields and took a flight over lake Eyre which was awesome we recommend it to anyone in the area took heaps of terrific photos.
Oh wow, this is on my list, yipeeeeee, looks famtastic

Hey Jules, hope all is well, do you think I will be able to drive Athena to Lake Eyre, I mean the road will it be ok? I'm wanting to go to Uluru about April.,

Good to see .. Water was getting low 27 Nov when we where all there last year..

Good stuff. We're going across the Simpson Desert in May and on down to William Creek.
This will make the trip even better.

We also are going the Oodnadatta again in May up to Dalhousie. Did the flight in 2009 - wonderful.
