When people commence anticoagulant medication they should be and usually are warned that if they are to undergo any kind of procedure which will include bleeding they should stop the medication for a time prior to the procedure. Usually a week is recommended

Very scary HW.
I have to have a couple of temp fillings removed and caps fitted Clare, but because of current medical issues and being on Warfarin have delayed the procedure even though my caps are ready and waiting, just don't want to chance it at the moment.
This is a bit of a worry. My FIL died of a heart attack after an infection from having teeth removed some 30 odd years ago....
