I can only agree with you its a great site.

I agree....its just a pity that the number of contributors have dropped substantially along with new topics. I log on every day and I see to be one of about 20 or so people who regularly comment (even if waffle on my part sometimes).

There seems to be too many "lurkers" on site and perhaps newbies who feel we will rip their head off if they post or comment on an existing one.

Cmon guys - lets get this site jumping again - it is really boring

agree we need more topics of interest. we can only talk about solar panels and batteries for so long.

I too love reading posts on this site. I do not post a lot but enjoy reading the helpful posts from others. I was on another site before this one and found them to be very rude and aggressive.

A number of US fora are rather hostile and rude. The Escapees Discussion Forum is rather polite and informative as is "The Grey . The moderators will give "warning points" for improper behavior. The moderators appear to be quite informed and helpful.

Just looking at the window of our "caravan" sited in our daughter's back yard (mootch-docking) in southern New Mexico for a month. There are a pair of Bendire's Thrashers "thrashing" about. This is a handsome and aggressive bird with one of the most beautiful songs.
