I am in need of a new 90 - 100ltr 3way caravan fridge but can't afford the best (so that lets out buying a compressor and solar panels and battery etc so no suggestions along that line please.
Also it is next to impossible to pick up a second hand one local enough to see first and pickup myself.
I am shying away from the Dometic brand due to a lot of adverse comments on many of the forums.
I have found this one which is around the same price as a domestic and a local place to me sells it so I could pick it up and save a delivery fee.
I know Bushman make a smaller portable fridge/freezer which has got good reviews but I am not sure if this is by the same company as they don't have it on their website: www.bushman.com.au
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

I can't help you with this particular fridge ,but if it is as good as the portable fridge freezer it will be a ripper.

Nothing wrong with Dometic if they are installed correctly.
Why not ring Bushman and find out if they are the makers of this fridge, you may be looking at a cheap Chinese import.
Cheers

I cannot find anywhere it states what climate class it is or any idea as to what temps to expect at a certain ambient temp
did not notice any Australian compliance either(lpg or electric)
I would be very wary.

I would not expect it to be tropical rated, I'd guess it's equal to the Dometic RM 2350.
I also found it at this place locally in Coffs Harbour but it has another name (articold) as well as Bushman thought they are out of stock it seems:
We will probably be selling the caravan sometime later this year so doubt we will be using it in extreme temps. Will invest in maybe a campervan or slide-on, not sure yet. I would not expect it to be tropical rated, I'd guess it's equal to the

Thanks for that Peter. I tried ringing them already but still closed for Xmas till 5th Jan. I was hoping as they import them they might have some info.
I have since found this site but it is in Spanish: http://www.articold.com.ve/ This is a google translation of their front page though I failed to find the 3way fridge advertised on their site
Cheers
