Great photos Brownie. I should try more often to take the patience and sit and wait for shots of birdies. I have some good ones of Wedgies and Kites but don't do it often enough. Those small birds take lots of patience
Sorry I couldn't help meself

Thanks for your comments John and Frangipani. Plenty where they came from too.....careful what you wish for!! We were on a boat at Karumba and got some great shots of the Kites, Eagles and Jabirus competing for food. They were pretty special. Those Budgies were at the Cumberland Historic Mine Site West of Georgetown Queensland. Hundreds of them. If you haven't been there, it is notable for its old chimney that you can see from the road, and there is quite a lot of dammed water there to attract the birds and other critters. Watched (and photographed) a large Goanna find and eat 10 eggs from a nest under a tree, no more than 4 metres from our van!! Loved the caption for the Emu shot John!! Cheers to all, and keep snapping! Bob
Just a few more bird pics from our travels last year. Cheers to all, and "Seasons Greetings"! Bob & Pauline
Gday...
