Aaaaaahhhhh Memories............. We used to do the Hyden Norseman track 35 years ago in a Holden Sunbird.
It was very isolated then is it still the same today. We would ring friends when we started and the ring them when we were safely through the other end
it was a big adventure for us and cut off a lot of miles too as we lived in the wheat belt area

"You know generally I am happy with my old van but then I see a set up like yours and think 'how nice would that be'. Hope you enjoy and keep it safe

Hi All,
Well we picked her up and had a great trip home - catching up with Baz and Jen in Vic and Kat the sis-in-law in Adelaide along the way.
Coming home the prevailing winds on the Nullarbor were kind to us - well we didn't have to get out and push it
and of course I was keen to "blood it" on the gravel so we did the Norseman - Hyden run on the way in to Perth.
(Wanda ended up a bit dusty but the road was as smooth as a billiard table -a/c recent grader skim)
Now to set her up and do a couple of short local runs before the big run in the new year.
"Happy Trails To You" and safe travels all !
Techno.
enjoy. I am sure you will.
