I am enjoying your photos. Stayed at Plushes when I was travelling through a while back. Was a nice spot but I was there at school holiday time so it was a bit crowded for me. Safe travels.
Well finally mustered up enough energy to pack up and leave Greens Lake .... wow what an effort ..!
I love that place ., the people are a bit unusual but that's ok.
Nyah is where i am now (27 km out of Swan Hill) the race track here offers 7 days free camping.
Lots of shade , no long grass to lose the shoes in. Toilets are good .
Have a great time Paul.
Cheers,
Sheba.
Good to see the pics coming.
Still have your pump for the mattress, catch up later.
John
Well, some are unusual You only need to look at that bloke the Chief
Bugger ..... rain today ...well a few shower or two . I put up my end ,
Took me an hour as it is the first time i put the end up , now i know how to do it
Moved camp to a better spot as the previous site was too sandy .
I haven't learnt to wipe my feet before I get into the van ,
I had to get the broom out and do some van cleaning ,
I am not used to a untidy van .?
Hey John.... look after the pump for me , I do hope you get rid of that sinking ship ,
Perhaps ,get an on board (solar powered) air pump to keep the craft afloat.
The river here has really dirty brown water , not good for daily bathing.,
Cheers from Paul

Hey Sheba , we all are wanting to have you do a camp with the " GN lost souls ,"
sometime in Mar - April when the campers get near to Rocky.
Cheers from me

Now i know how to do this ,a few more pic of Nyah 27km from Swan Hill
Notice toilet block with other buildings
No showers
400 m to THE shop, pub , take away fuel etc etc ,
but right next to the Muray
Tap water yes .
Not used to an untidy van, you have to be kidding, must have changed after leaving Greens.
Yes Paul the floating mattress is in the rubbish skip never to return and the pump is in my tidy drawer waiting your return.
All the best on your travels,
John
Ken
Me,,????

Nice pics Paul. Ta.
Any idea where in sa you might be heading to?
Cheers , John
Hello John
good to get a mes from you ,
At the moment I am at Nyah still , will be here for a wee bit
Maybe head off towards SA in a day or so , I am not sure at this moment ,
When i land there I will make a splash ...
repair two tyres , both on the front of the scoot machine,
I had to spent a few hours looking about the town here , Swan Hill is a much bigger town than I thought it would be
The temp here on my temp gauge is 39 c so sitting in the shade is a. b....dy good option
I feel like crawling into the icebox for a refresher
John let me know if you are aware of a few free camp spots.
cheers from Paul
.
George and co.
I feel as if I am good enough now at posting photos to become professional .
I am willing to take orders for posting pics on this site .... ha. Ha
Blame yeoeleven John , he taught me how to do it., now i want to post pics every day.
I will post some of Swan Hill ... eh.
Cheers from Paul
Hey there, Billeeeee
Some pic of SA please
I am sure you have a few nice ones of camp sites
Cheers from me
Not much travelling in SA went round the coast and the west of the Eyre peninsular was spectacular.
Mannun was good, just ask Billeee. but what happens in Mannum is supposed to stay in Mannum.
The blog starts in SA here http://yeoeleven.blogspot.com.au/2011/09/south-australia.html
Have a good trip,
John
Meetoo John , Good to get a message from you ... keep in touch
Cheers from Paul
This Murray region is so interesting . I have came across all kind of things here
Wine is sort after and produced
Having a quiet day on the Murray
Been to Bunnings , very helpful staff there ! I want to keep going there .
Botanic Gardens here at Mildura is in NSW , the gardens are about 30 years old
, there has been a enormous amount of work done but more is needed.
All work is done by volunteers , not council.
I bought a fold up trolley but it is going back to the shop ,
it is to short for a tall person , i thought it would be good
to shift solar panel and water , yep... too short .
To save buying lunch when i am out and about i bought a small soft ESKY ,
i can pack some lunch instead of buying lunch .
One cafe /coffee shop here was charging $14:00 for a ham and salad roll
, make my own lunch when I go touring about..
Went to visit the boats using the lock . There was 26 locks planed along the Murray
but only 14 were built , only 12 are used now.
Pic of boat entering lock then pic of boat lowered to lower level

Botanical garden are in a semi desert region
Gardens have been established about 30 years , there is a group of volunteers doing most of the work
A real credit to the community
just another pic of the Murray
This is the nice camping spot view of the river at Psyche Bend
Or otherwise known as Psyche pump because there is a historic pump here . This pump was run on wood fires (steam) but now it is powered by240 v
Psyche Bend is easy to get to with good access , 10km out of town
Great story Paul, the pics are good too.
Keep it up,
John
