Hi all we are Gary and Sue (kiwis) although having not lived there for 14 years having spent the last 10 years in England.
we have just purchased a new motor home at this time I will not mention the make but quite frankly we are at a point we could give it away.
We have been so looking forward to our starting the big lap but the issues with the rig have dampened our spirits.
The rig is only 2 weeks old and travelled 1000 klm. Our first major was an engine light where we had to replace the Lamda sensor done free of course by the manufacturer next was self levelling legs which we had paid nearly $10,000 for would not work we managed to get going, then it was leg fell off the table, window sliders put in upside down, drain hoses under the home bracket fell off, interior mouldings damaged, splash back badly scratched, leaking bathroom drain pipe,Satilite not working new unit now fitted, body mouldings under front guards and rear moulding insecure, kitchen drawer screws too small falling out.Now the Luton cab is letting in water, we have to remove carpets and use towels to mop up all the water. To top it off the slide outs are not working properly, the self levelling legs are not working at all, went out today to find flat front tyre caused by a faulty valve extension.
We were informed these issues could not be fixed till January but after some phone calls some issues will be delt with Tuesday.
people forget this is our home and the inconvience it causes.
Enough of my bitching lets hope it gets better and we see some of you in our travels.

Hi Gary & Sue ,welcome to the GNF.We also live in our motorhome and we have been inconvenienced a few times as well, but not as bad as you guys.
You must get on to the dealer ASAP and tell them that if all the issue that you have brought up are not fixed up to your expectations ,you will refer them
to the ACCC. Take plenty of photos. By what you have described ,you certainly have some bad issues there.I really feel for you guys.
Good luck with all that and i hope that things will get better quicker than real soon.
Cheers,
Blues man.

Welcome to the forum Sue & Gary we all wish you a very quick and thorough repair to your motor home, I think the very least the manufacturer could do would be provide accommodation whilst they repair your home.
