I had the distinct pleasure of meeting a couple of "young" gypsies today - with the caravan all set up. I really could NOT go past without interrupting them, introducing myself and having a look at their 'home'. Thankfully, they allowed me to gush about their abode.
They are long-standing members of the book-trade and are now on the road with this fantastic gypsy caravan - built to order for them.
I suggested that we would love to meet them on the forum and perhaps they may join the forum and grace us with their adventures as they unfold.
Here are a couple of photos I took of Susan and Peter AND their gypsy caravan.
How lucky for you John - I would love to meet some travelling gypsies - love gypsy wagons!!!!!!!

Thanks Rocky, that looks great.
They better be careful if camped near me though with my new "Chief" as it might attack them at night

That's a lovely Vardo, and a great way of life, I've experienced travelling in a authentic gypsy vardo in the USA, a very precious memory indeed. Thanks for posting the pics, it was nice to see it.......Kisha
