Hi Gaz & Shell, thanks for your comment. It sure is a great place. We were there at the tail end of the peak season and had plenty of room in the unpowered section. It did fill up from time to time over the 6 weeks but never a problem. We met some great people. We arrived there in windy conditions and the sea was pretty stirred up but it fined up and we had near perfect weather for most of our stay. Some people complained about road noise as it is pretty close to the road but it didn't bother us one bit. Have fun. Cheers, Bob

Hi Doug and Bushtoad,
Ellis Beach is north of Cairns by about 30-40 Kms from memory, but before you get too excited, it was about $28 per night 2 years ago. That said, we just loved it. Will go back again for sure if we are that way again.
