Interesting, notice that they changed the categories this year. I suppose they had to do something to stop the Discovery winning for the 10th year in a row.

Further analysis shows how much the Australian car market has changed over the last few years, it used to be dominated by the companies that do the big advertising Toyota, Holden and Ford. Now it is hard to find a contender from all three.
It is now the big global manufacturers that are showing their strength, there are 5 winners from the VW group of companies, 2 from Renault, and two from Mercedes.

Resale prices are a good guide.

Hi,
Well I gave up reading anything from the Motoring Press years ago. The whole business is so incestuous between the manufacturers and the writers that it is hard to believe any of it IMHO
On top of that, it is only a snap shot of some short term use by someone who does not have to really live with a vehicle that they really PAID for. Does this skew it. You bet it does. Does the wining and dining from the industry skew it ? yes ?
Best to go down to a car park or a caravan park and poll the owners. Or look at the resale values as said.

I don't understand the ratings. Are the numbers given scores out of ten?
I tried to browse the site but my computer closed itself, dunno if there's a gremlin in there?
Gday...
Of interest - from our 'towing' point of view perhaps.
Particularly AWD SUV $65,000>$125,000, and Best 4X4 Dual Cab Ute.
There are considerable categories against which weighting is applied so takes a bit of time to absorb.
