Looks like the tourist drive I took off southern Atherton tableland highway through the rain forest. No where to turn around, grass right to the edge of the seal and drains either side. Luckily didnt have the caravan on, and there was another car behind me. Finally came out back on the highway - was a oneway road. I remembered seeing the 'No Entry' sign erlier but was very relieved when I got to the highway again:)

G'day spida , we got caught on the same road up that way, and we had the caravan behind, took us around 3 hrs to find our way back to the highway, "Tourist Drive they called it" never took me eyes off the road the whole trip !!

Followed a dirt road through the bush on the south coast of NSW one time. Drove the old Valiant AP5 at a snail's pace through dense growth, gullies, dips and hills and finally came across a little patch of green as the sun set, and where I camped in the car. Next morning, to the sounds of birds, I woke and noticed a council garbage bin. Then I followed a small walking track which led to a bay. And there I was in the middle of a housing estate! So much for my night in the wilds.
