Okay get out the hankerchiefs. Mick is my name I am a young minded 64 year old currently living in the Sutherland Shire. Due to the breakdown of my 7 year relationship with a lady the house goes on sale next week and when sold i will be an aimless traveller. I dont know how I will tackle the lonelyness as I like gathering with friends and seeing my grown children each week which will be a thing of the past. My Van is an 18.6ft 1996 Roadstar and my car is a 2005 Pajero diesel. Due to very limited funds I guess i will be looking to free camp a lot and will need to find pet friendly places for my saussage dog Benny, who has no say in it, he is going with me. Anyhow I look forward to seeing many of you along the way.

Welcome to the gang Shadow, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Now, mate, even though you will be travelling solo you will never be on your own and I tell you that for free.
Now you have joined up here just let us know where you are heading or are already and you could be looking for some self time mate. When letting us know don't say the exact location on the open forum but do that via the PM system when someone contacts you via the same system.

Hi Shadow, you will have the time of your life on the road, and welcome lol. If you havn't got one already invest in the camp 7 book it shows you all the free camps on the route you choose, can be got from any camping store I think. Anyway mate if you see a van pulled over its the begining of a camp overnight or more. Always try to find a spot for the night by 2ish pm or you may not get into one. That's it from me happy travelling mate. :)
