My 2005 Jayco Heritage fibreglass van has lost the clear coat on one side wall but the other three walls are ok, has anyone experienced this and what can be done to fix it I await the wisdom of our members as I am sure you will know how to fix this problem.

Are you referring to "Vantec" AT
If so you can get a bottle and spray it on yourself, so they told me, just last week. I had it done to the Chief.

Thanks for response Doug but it is definitely the gel-coat that's gone

does it just need a cut and polish with a good quality marine polish or need a new gel coat?

I have tried light cut and polish with polish designed for fibreglass no win I am now thinking of talking to boat maintenance company but not a lot located near where I live

Hey aussietraveller
Just read your post, any luck?
Mate of mine suggested I use a spray on turtle wax that connects to a hose and spray on a clean van and light rinse off.
I too have a Jayco and was considering what my mate suggested, was wondering what you did.
Cheers - Weg

G'day Weg
I have not done anything yet bet I figure that there has to be a solution to this and I will get around shortly to talking to a boat restoration/sales centre as they deal with fibre glass boats all the time I will post when I talk to them.
