Hi Gals. Myself and two friends of mine, Bette and Fran, have our own rigs and are looking to do a slow six month journey up the east coast from Melbourne to Port Douglas starting next mid March. We're coming from Mornington Peninsula, but wondered if there were any other single female solos with their own rigs who wanted to join us, some of the way, or all of the way. The idea is to stick as near to a beach as possible lol, but to have the freedom to go off and do what we want if we want to, always able to catch up.
For instance I might want to go and see friends, or just a different area for a couple of nights, to Bette or Fran (or visa versa) but we'd catch up again after that and continue on. As its a slow journey it gives ample opportunity for others to join in when they can. We will be free camping wherever possible but maybe staying in a camp once a week. Really there are no definates yet. Just puttin the feelers out to see if anyone else interested?
Cheers Didi
