I have been noticing many posts where people post a link for some news article or something but they haven't made it a proper link.
You may call me lazy but if a link isn't clickable I, most times. couldn't be bothered highlighting the link then copying it then opening another browser page then pasting it into the address bar.
Please would posters make their links clickable. It's so easy.
All you have to do is highlight the link you put into the message 'like the link- www.thegreynomads.com.au in the attached picture' Then click the little chain link symbol above the message area and put the link into the "link url' area then press insert and it's done:
If you post the link in the Quick Reply box, then it is automatically "linkified".

I for one am the first to admit that I am not all that 'tech-savvy', however I know enough to get myself around the computer and do what I want to do, and that includes posting bits and pieces on this forum, but I have been known to make the occasional faux-par! So I shall put forward a 'blanket' apology for past and future mistakes!

What I do is copy the link to the post (right click mouse, paste, link already been copied elsewhere).
If it doesn't turn "blue" I put the mouse cursor behind the link and move the space bar once, the link will turn "blue" (clickable) then submit.
If for some reason your link is not clickable in the post, edit the post, then follow instructions as per line two, then submit.
Dorians way seems simpler, I must try that sometime....
