Yesterday there was rather a significant, how do you do, between myself and another member of this forum in techies corner.
I wish to unreservedly apologise to the forum for being a major part of that mess.
As I have said I suffer depression and a number of other mental add ons, Im afraid bullying gets me going and I felt the need to respond in kind.
The good book tells us (BTW Im not religious) that the power of life and death are in our words. Many years ago I was part of a verbal interchange that led me to make an attempt at ending my life, thats how serious this is. I hear some say toughen up, well I have thanks to many hours with medical professionals and medication.
My postings, yesterday were an attempt to highlight to the member/members their use of abuse, put downs, patronising and other forms of bullying tactics. I have no idea if my efforts hit home or just bounced around and had little progress.
Now im not that naive or stupid to believe all people will be "nice" to each other, however there is a marked difference between friendly banter and bullying.
I care a great deal for this forum and the people in it, and hate to see it treated in such a manner, and Cindy, who has at times the wisdom of Solomon.
Please be careful and take care of yourselves

Phil,
Well said and very true!
With depression, it's not as easy as "get over it" it runs much deeper. However the non neuro typical do have other strengths, compassion, sensitivity, etc which are a blessing.
