remember when............. you could pick up a fishing pole and go fishing with your mates wherever you felt like it? go yabbying.. play in drains and collect tadpoles etc?
remember when.............you heard kookaburra's when you woke up in the morning? pumped your own milk? collected your own eggs?
man.. what ever happened to those days??? it wasn't that long ago folks.. what happened?

Remember when.........................................soft drinks were made locally Cohn's in Swan Hill, MON in Echuca, Tarax and Marchants in the City.

Remember when light globes cost about 40 cents and lasted for years? Now they cost $7.95 and my personal record survival time is about 20 seconds.
Remember when companies and government departments did not have 1300 numbers which cost 60 per cent more to call than ordinary numbers?
