Set off from Terramungamine with shopping to do in Dubbo, no rush we were going down to Camps7 #866 called Bell River Rest Area but signed Larras Lee Rest Area.
Clean drop toilets, tables and benches with plenty of space to camp but at the back there is a road running down towards the river. We have driven down to a flat camping area but will have to reverse quite a few metres along a rutted track before we can turn round.
Very peaceful here with no road noise, there is one camper van parked up in the rest area but apart from that we are alone in a quiet treed location with birds galore singing their songs. How good is that? John

Welcome to the forum, I notice that it was your third post. Usually I post about my overnight camp sites with photos to let GNs know what to expect if they camp there.

That was the general plan, we currently are at Carcoar Dam until Monday. There are a couple of overnighters next then Wilkes Park at Wagga Wagga, Howlong and Scotts Beach all for an expected 2 nights so that puts arrival on Monday afternoon before the Cup if we make a 2 nighter into an overnighter.
So depending who will be at Greens for the Cup we will decide on the last few days of stopovers. We need to be at Shepp. for a trading day to stock up at SPC and Aldi so we can't land there on Cup Tuesday.

I reckon it will be busy as over the so called cup weekend John. Extremely busy this weekend already mate. Temps have been mid 30's since Wednesday, nice though. Heaps of water activities.
