There was a shorter trip from Premer to Binnaway but it involved some dirt roads, we had enough of them enroute to Premer and we had washed the buses. So we took the black top to Coonabarabran then on to Binnaway all up 100kms.
This is a great camp with 5min $2 showers and power for $2 per 3 hours so you can be selective about when you use power. There is an electric barbeque area, flushing toilets and water available. Walking distance to shops and garage which I used to my advantage after finding a flat front tyre.
Borrowed a compressor and pumped it up again then set off to the garage, fortunately they are equipped to handle full mechanical repairs so changing my tyre was no problem. Note to myself buy a compressor. Half an hour later and I was back at the camp setting up again. John

Found a 4WD track down to the river but it wasn't appealing for a swim but went back to get the camera.
Travelling with a couple of dogs, the first pic is Dennise with a part dingo pup who had been left for dead when rescued and brought to her camp a couple of months ago and as a wildlife carer she has been gradually rehabilitating him. The second is Otis and those who were with us in Tassie will remember him. John

We spent 3 nights there at the end of April and it was great. Walked in for coffee each morning.
